I. about

Hi! I'm Hallie. Let me tell you how all of this began.

My career as a designer began with a high school class that I, as an art kid and book worm, was not initially interested in. Soon enough, though, I was staying up late to fill Pinterest boards and bookmarks with all the fonts, assets, and the work of others that entranced me. I started out designing menus and promotional materials for a local juice bar. Then, after college, I was given the opportunity to work with a number of amazing people and businesses.It is thanks to these experiences that I have the skills I possess today. If needed, I can see an entire project through to its end alone, no matter the size of it. I'm also comfortable designing for a wide range of aesthetics and mediums, all while keeping the needs of the people that will encounter my work in mind.

my goals as a designer.

My objectives as a designer are fairly simple! I aim to create things that are visually appealing, inviting, and easy to use. Design has the power to do many things beyond conveying a message, after all!When it comes to my work, I always strive to create with people — their needs, their experiences, and their emotions — at the forefront of my mind.

what else is there to me?

Outside of design, I hold the honor of being a "mom" to the sweetest special-needs kitty. She is my little partner in crime and can often be found snoozing at the end of my desk. Outside of caring for her and providing assistance with a local wedding venue, I also enjoy playing games with my friends, writing, and drawing whatever pops into my head at that moment!

the amish barn at edge

2021 - present

After many years of working for the Amish Barn at Edge as a venue coordinator, I had the pleasure of collaborating with business in 2021 for design work. What began as a few flyers turned into an extensive website re-design, business cards, brochures, promotional posters, and even a full page advertisement, featured in the 2024 & 2025 editions of the Wedding Association of the Brazos Valley's bridal magazine.

the leona drug store

2023 - present

In 2024, I was fortunate enough to be brought on by the Leona Drug Store for a number of design projects. With this wonderful, eccentric little vintage shop, I worked to create everything from packaging, to merchandise, to menus, and more!

shady estate

2025 - present

Following my success with the Amish Barn at Edge and the Leona Drug Store, the owner of both businesses recruited me to work on Shady Estate, an up and coming event venue. In collaboration with the owner of the venue, I delivered items such as branding materials and a website design.
